Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Flee app. By using Flee you agree to them.

What Flee does

Flee lets you choose apps and categories of websites to block for a period you commit to, and lets you nominate one accountability partner who is told if you turn that protection off before the period ends. Blocking uses Apple's Screen Time framework and runs on your device.

What Flee does not promise

Flee is a commitment aid, not a security product. It cannot prevent every route to content — another device, another network, or a determined workaround will defeat it. It is designed to make quitting harder to do quietly, not impossible to do at all. Flee is not medical or therapeutic treatment. If you are struggling, please seek qualified help.

Your accountability partner

When you nominate someone, you confirm that you have their permission to send them text messages about your use of Flee. Do not enter someone's number without asking them first. They can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and we will tell you in the app if they do.

Messaging terms

• Messages are event-driven and low volume — typically no more than a few per month.
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's plan.
• Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out. STOP takes effect immediately and permanently.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Payment

Flee is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under their terms and refund policy. Purchases made on the web are handled by Stripe; for those, contact us for a refund and we will consider it in good faith within 14 days of purchase.

Restoring a purchase

Purchases made through the App Store restore through your Apple Account. Purchases made on the web are restored using the email address you gave at checkout, verified by a code we send to it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Flee to harass anyone, to send messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or to attempt to interfere with the service. We may end access for misuse.

Liability

Flee is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Attention LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including any failure to block content or to deliver a message. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and continued use means acceptance.
